The microcontrollers also offer optimized ultra-low-power modes such as active mode, standby mode with real-time clock (RTC), and shutdown.
The MSP430FR604x microcontrollers family integrates TI’s ferroelectric RAM (FRAM) and a holistic ultra-low-power MSP system architecture which allows system designers to increase performance while lowering energy consumption. The microcontrollers are supported by extensive MSP430 FRAM hardware and software ecosystem with thousands of existing software libraries, reference designs, application notes, and driver framework to simplify development across the portfolio.
